No thanks Andrey, I prefer the demo content to remain blur so that there is no issue with copyrights if the site goes online before being finalized. I have restored the site backup of the day before the demo content disappeared, and it is all showing again now, so that I assume it was properly installed in the first place but I did something wrong yesterday that made it disappear.
Just in case, to avoid any issues with content (especially before/after important changes), please perform time to time back of your website via this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/
