I did have phone number and email add in the theme meta section at the top of the home page. I've deleted them because I was getting spam emails. Can I now reduce the height of the theme meta strip at the top of the home page? It's the white horizontal strip above the slider. Thanks, Richard

Please, click WP Dashboard => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and inset here the following code:
section.page_topline.page_topline_2 { display: none; }Then save changes.
