I am currently working with the solar-child theme. I cant make changes to style.css file in child themes folder even when i have imported the following : @import url(”../solar/style.css”); I tried to view your documentation about it but i have not found anything. Can you please tell me how do i make the theme styled from that style.css file in the solar-child folder.

In this case let's try out the following solution:
0. Switch to the parent theme and delete your previous child theme.
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/child-theme-configurator/
2. Run child theme configuration in Tools => Child Themes. Check the settings for the plugin like on the screenshots below:

3. Click "Configure Child Theme".
4. Go in Appearance => Themes => and activate child theme.
5. Try to apply necessary changes via style.css - everything should be works.
